The Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) School of Business has appointed Corey Pendleton as assistant professor of Business Analytics. Pendleton will teach courses including Business Analytics for Decision Making, Economics for Decision Making, and Data Acquisition & Management for Business.
Pendleton recently completed his Ph.D. in economics from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU), where he earned his Master of Arts in Economics. His Ph.D. dissertation at MTSU examined the impacts of legislation on economic outcomes and business dynamics. His research addresses the CARES Act's influence on housing finance, the economic effects of California's Proposition 47, and factors affecting family business succession.
Before joining LMU, Pendleton was a graduate researcher at MTSU's Business and Economic Research Center, contributing to key economic studies such as the 2023 Wage and Benefit Survey. He has also presented his work at conferences, earning the Distinguished Research Award at the Institute of Global Business Research in 2021 and 2022.
